A comparison guide for GP and dental clinic owners

Choose your agency.
Ask clearer questions.

Compare a clinic marketing agency in Malaysia by the work, evidence and responsibilities behind its proposal.

01 / Define the decision

“Best” needs
a business context.

A clinic with unclear service pages has a different starting point from a clinic that receives enquiries but struggles to arrange appointments. Decide what you need to improve before comparing agency names or deliverable counts.

Bring your services, location, capacity, current marketing and available enquiry records. A useful proposal should connect those facts with specific work and a way to review progress.

This guide is published by Belthar Intelligence, a service provider you may be considering. It is a practical checklist, not an independent agency ranking or an award claim.

02 / Compare the proposal

Six questions
worth asking.

What problem will you work on first?

Ask which service, search need, website issue or enquiry step deserves attention and why. Request the evidence behind that priority rather than accepting the same package for every clinic.

What exactly is included?

List the campaign, landing-page, content, search and enquiry work being proposed. Clarify what will be reviewed, created, published and reported, and what falls outside the engagement.

What supports the case study?

Ask for the baseline, later result, timeframe and work carried out. Check whether a number means contact clicks, received enquiries, booked appointments, attended visits or revenue. Historical results are context, not your forecast.

How is the budget separated?

Distinguish management fees from advertising spend and other charges. Check the proposal's payment, contract, cancellation and access terms directly; do not assume they are the same between providers.

Who approves the information?

Agree who checks the clinic's services, practitioner details, clinical information and supporting evidence before publication. The appropriate professional handles individual advice and suitability.

Who handles the enquiry?

Clarify the contact route, the team receiving questions and the next step. Ask how the agency and your clinic distinguish website activity from an actual received enquiry or appointment.

03 / Agree how to review progress

One reporting number
cannot explain every step.

  • Discovery.Review the relevant paid-search or organic-search evidence, including the dates, service and destination.
  • Website activity.A visit or contact-button interaction helps explain behaviour, but does not prove that the clinic received a useful question.
  • Enquiry and appointment records.Check actual received questions, arrangements and attendance where reliable records are available.
  • Business outcomes.Use the clinic's confirmed payment or revenue records where appropriate. Keep unknown sources and incomplete evidence visible.

Agree the definitions, responsible person and review period before making claims about improvement. Several factors can change together; an increase in revenue does not by itself prove that one marketing channel caused it.

04 / Make the first conversation useful

Bring what you have.
Identify what is missing.

Share the current website and campaigns, priority services, practical capacity and main concern. You do not need a perfect dashboard to begin, but gaps should be recorded rather than filled with assumptions.

A clear next step might be a focused page repair, a campaign review, better local information or a more reliable enquiry record. A full rebuild or every marketing channel is not automatically the right starting point.

Common comparison questions

Read the details
behind the pitch.

Should I choose the agency with the most leads?

First ask how a lead is defined and measured. Contact interactions, received enquiries and attended appointments are different. Compare the evidence, clinic capacity and scope rather than a number without context.

Is a clinic-only agency always the better choice?

No single label establishes fit. Ask how the provider understands your practice, handles factual review, explains its work and supports the enquiry process. Relevant examples and clear responsibilities are more useful than a label alone.

What should I check when landing pages or content are free?

Ask what is included, how long the benefit applies, what approvals are needed and what the proposal says about access and the end of the engagement. At Belthar, unlimited landing pages and social content are free throughout collaboration; unlimited applies to landing pages and social content scope is agreed.

Can an agency guarantee rankings or a fixed patient count?

Search systems, demand, budget, clinic capacity and enquiry handling all affect outcomes. Belthar does not use this guide to promise a fixed ranking or patient count. Review any provider's specific claim and written terms carefully.
